Lightwalker® Laser Removal
of pigmented lesions is an age spot eliminating superhero that changes the landscape of your skin. It removes age spots and reclaims youthful texture on all ethnic skin types. Age spots in the form of hyperpigmentation and dark spots caused by long UV exposure, and hormonal changes are completely treatable.
How does the LightWalker Laser Removal work?
Our intensive laser treatment is a non-invasive, controlled, and precise practice that is exceptionally well tolerated.
The first step in combating stubborn age spots without using scalpels and sutures is in the laser light absorption. The intensive light produced by short nanosecond pulses penetrates deeper into the dermal layer of the skin. This light is then selectively soaked up by the pigment in the targeted lesion without any harm to the surrounding cells.
Second, the mechanical break up of the pronounced pigmentation after the laser light is remodeled into photoacoustic waves. The small, broken down pigmented particles are completely removed by the human body’s own immune system.
Lastly, the heat also provides a boost for the growth of the collagen which is extremely vital for the regeneration and rejuvenation of fine-textured, smooth, and radiant skin.
How long does it take for age spots to fade away after the laser
treatment?
After the laser treatment is completed, you will start to observe that some age spots begin to get darker. This is completely natural. These dark spots will start to flake off after a week or a couple of post treatments.
How many sessions will I need?
You will start to observe some improvements after the first treatment as the spots begin to lighten. However, in order for you to see a drastic difference and get rid of the maximum amount of age spots, you’re recommended to have 2 – 4 sessions
depending on intensity of the problem.
Are there any side effects of the treatment?
The only side effect of the laser treatment is the darkening of the age spots, but this is temporary and will start to fade away in a time frame of 10 – 14 days. Also, after the treatment, you may have some mild swelling and a bit of redness which will not last for more than 48 hours.
How do I prepare for my laser treatment appointment?
You should stop UV tanning one month prior to treatment and self-tanning skincare two weeks prior to treatment.
Will Age Spot Removal hurt?
You will experience minimal pain during the treatment. A numbing topical cream is uniformly applied to offset any discomfort.
