Get Plump, Pink,Luminous Skin
Micro-needling is a multi-purpose procedure for treating acne, scars, wrinkles, and even hair loss. The generation of new collagen and tissue produces firmer, smoother, and younger looking skin. This process also lightens scars and reduces large pores, resulting in toned, radiant skin.
As we age, different facial skin problems make us self-conscious. Various skin care products and treatments have flooded the market. While these products and treatments promise to provide the finest results, disappointing outcomes can still
occur. Micro-Needling with Platelet Rich Fibrin (PRF) has been effective where other treatments have failed to fix wrinkles, sagging skin, fine lines, and loss of volume. This advanced and popular choice is FDA cleared and scientifically proven to rejuvenate skin by triggering the production of collagen and elastin,
How does this phenomenal, painless procedure work?
This minimally invasive treatment uses microscopic punctures in the facial skin and minimal recovery time. This process, also known as “Collagen Induction Therapy,” uses short needles penetrate the skin with the solution of Platelet Rich Fibrin (PRF). These micro-wounds are small punctures which heal extremely quickly and rejuvenate skin in a process known as “controlled wound healing”. Moreover, these microscopic punctures channel active ingredients deeper into the skin for maximum collagen production and natural activation of growth factors.
You will see visible improvements in acne scarring, stretch marks, skin laxity, and enlarged pores to name a few.
What is Platelet Rich Fibrin (PRF)?
Platelet Rich Fibrin is a combination of platelets and white blood cells collected from a tube of your own blood. These platelets and cells are the main constituents that contribute to the miraculous rejuvenation of younger looking skin.
This extraction is gradually spun in a centrifuge where both the white blood cells and platelets are separated so that the nutrient dense PRF is created. It is quite important to slowly spin the extraction so that the nutrients are preserved and do not get lost during the process. This autologous blood concentration, when infused into the deeper layer of skin, accelerates the growth of the new cells, creating the desired result.
Platelets present in your blood trigger the natural rejuvenation process of the skin so newer, volumetric cells resurface while old cells are removed. Fibrin provides scaffolding to assist blood cells for activity like clotting. Growth factors in PRF remain superactive for almost 2 weeks because of the presence of fibrin. This long lasting process sustains accelerated growth of collagen and elastin — two key components for youthful skin!
How many PRF treatments are needed?
Depending on the targeted area to be treated, a follow-up visit every month or a couple of months is recommended to maintain optimum results. We recommend booking 4 appointments at the beginning of your treatments.
How does Micro-Needling treatment work?
Very small punctures are made in the upper skin surface using microneedles for the infusion of plasma rich fibrin solution and other rich nutrients to slough off the dead and superficial skin and reveal younger underlying skin.
Does Micro-Needling treatment hurt?
Micro-Needling treatment is minimally invasive. Upon request, however, a topical anesthetic is applied .
What can I expect after my Micro-Needling treatment?
Your skin may have some redness right after the completion of the treatment. This will subside in a couple of days.
